With competing designs, the winner, besides having a impressive appearance, also needs to be realistically affordable.

Commissioned by Today Design, Olthaar Ontwerpen, in collaboration with Vitruvius Consultancy, on a level of feasibility, demonstrated that Smart Building can be applied to reduce costs.

The design lends itself to standardization of building components, while retaining a destinctive form. A ’yield’ can also be achieved by an innovative climate system and reduced construction time.

At present the proposals are being considered.
